These terms apply to every service you buy from Michael D Furnace LLC ("we", "us") on this website, by invoice or by agreement on a call. By checking the box at checkout or paying an invoice, you agree to them. If a written proposal or statement of work you sign says something different, that document controls for that engagement.
1. What we do
We provide business consulting, start-up consulting, financial services, profit and risk analytics, and media presence services: business formation and compliance documents, business credit and funding preparation, grant research and writing, financial and profit analysis, websites and online presence, and related advice. The scope of each service is what its description on this website, your invoice or your written proposal says. Anything outside that scope is a separate service at a separate price, agreed before we start it.
2. What we don't do
- We are not a law firm, CPA firm, lender, credit bureau or government agency, and we don't give legal or tax advice. For legal or tax questions, use a licensed attorney or CPA.
- We don't prepare tax returns.
- We don't guarantee results. Approvals, funding amounts, credit limits, credit scores, grant awards, search rankings, leads and sales are decided by third parties and the market, not by us.
3. Your part
You agree to give us accurate, complete information and the documents we ask for, to respond within a reasonable time, and to review and approve our work. Timelines we give assume you do. You're responsible for decisions you make with our recommendations, and for filing fees, state fees, domain and third-party costs unless your package says they're included.
4. Payment
One-time services are paid in full before work begins, through Square checkout or a Square invoice. Monthly programs bill automatically each month until you cancel. Prices are the flat prices published on this website or quoted in writing. State filing fees are separate unless a package says otherwise.
5. Cancellations and refunds
- Before work begins: cancel within 3 business days of payment and before we start, and we'll refund you in full.
- After work begins: fees cover work already done and time reserved for you, so they're non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise.
- Monthly programs: cancel anytime by email or through the portal. Cancelling stops future billing; the current month is not prorated.
- If we can't deliver a service we sold you, we'll refund the part we didn't deliver.
6. Timelines
Any timeline is an estimate based on typical cases. Government agencies, banks, bureaus and other third parties set their own processing times, which we don't control.
7. Confidentiality and your information
We keep your business information confidential and use it only to deliver your services, as described in our privacy policy. Never email your Social Security number, full bank account numbers or ID images; we'll give you a secure way to share sensitive documents when a service needs them.
8. Work product
Once you've paid in full, the documents, plans and website content we create for you are yours to use for your business. We may reuse our general templates, methods and know-how.
9. Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service, and we're not liable for indirect or lost-profit damages.
10. Communication
We'll contact you by email, phone or video call about your engagement. We text you only if you've agreed to receive texts, and you can reply STOP at any time.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms for future purchases; the version you agreed to applies to your purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, where Michael D Furnace LLC is organized.
